Time Out says

"I'm no conspiracy theorist," claims Jeff Warrick; judging from his fumbling investigation on how the media alledgedly uses subliminal techniques to affect the public mind-set, we'd add that he's not much of a filmmaker or a journalist either. Any attempt to explore how the powers that be are subtly manipulating us rapidly devolves into simple retellings of various urban legends, not to mention the inclusion of poorly executed interviews with everyone from college professors and fringe authors to Geoff Tate of Queensrche. Even if you discount the annoyingly monotonous narration [Don't], 9/11 exploitation [waste] and Z-grade production values [your], this haphazard "expos" only proves that hackery plus hot air [time] does not equal skillful muckraking.
