Investigating a mining company which is encroaching on Indian lands, journalist Elisa (Torres) discovers that the company's handsome, schizophrenic chairman (Mayer) is actually of native descent. They embark on a passionate affair, until the man's 'dead' wife comes back to life. This eccentric ecological romance was apparently inspired by the films of Pedro Almodóvar - but it's hard to believe the director has ever seen one. For all the weirdness on display (notably an office that transforms into a jungle), this is a fundamentally banal picture, with embarrassingly naive hippie-mystic sentiments ('You aren't the man I met behind a desk, you are the Lord of the Forest...' etc). And is the title ironic? It is not.
