Time Out says

Ray Liotta plays a district attorney whose mayoral ambitions are complicated when the assistant prosecutor he’s been sleeping with confesses to killing a man—apparently in self-defense. Various crossings and double-crossings come to light over the course of a long, flashback-laden night, as the DA tries to get to the bottom of a convoluted plot involving blackmail, real estate and a mysterious gang leader. Very little of it makes any sense, but fortunately, most viewers will have stopped caring long before the end of this rote thriller. (Now playing; Click here for venues.) — Joshua Land
