For some, the chance to see Isabelle Huppert dressed up as a hot schoolgirl or decked out in rubber fetish gear is reason enough to plunk down hard-earned cash. (Trust us, no one's judging anybody here.) Those viewers will get their money's worth out of this chilly character study, in which the French-cinema icon plays a high-end prostitute. When a psychoanalyst (Lanners) enters her orbit, this belle du jour decides she may want to start therapy while he begins to re-examine his marital woes. Director Jeanne Labrune (Vatel) makes the most out of having a compellingly watchable movie star at her disposal, but neither some odd stabs at humor nor Huppert's versatility do much to enliven what's essentially a superficially sexed-up souffl.
