Time Out says

Tano Guarrassi, Mafia enforcer, died in a hail of bullets in 1988, rubbed out by a hitman from the real-life Corleone family. A decade on and the story reaches the screen, but this is no dynastic crime saga in the grand Coppola manner. Instead, first time director Torre has turned it into a brightly coloured slice of musical kitsch, shot on location in Palermo and using local residents and tradespeople in the cast. Song and dance numbers performed karaoke-style unfurl the sorry tale, but as musical parody it's just not accurate enough to hit home, and the result is a one-joke movie that wears thin after about ten minutes.
