Time Out says

During the opening frames of this astute German eco doc, politician Hermann Sheer rants on about our urban cities’ insatiable consumption of fossil-fuelled power and how much more beneficial it would be if architects and owners stumped up the little extra to have windows replaced by solar glass. Judging by the film’s opening night-time glide over the city of Los Angeles, you can see his point. Fechner’s film doesn’t bring anything new to the table – it’s the same scare story about our use of energy –  but it’s still a worthy shot across the bows of consumerism.
