The Angels Wash Their Faces

Quickie sequel to the classic Warners melodrama Angels with Dirty Faces. Minus gangster Cagney and priest Pat O'Brien, it has to content itself with Sheridan's hand-wringing over young brother Thomas and his involvement with the Dead End Kids (stars of the first film and later to land a movie series of their own). A young Ronald Reagan crops up as a kindly lawyer's son and resident romance angle.
