Time Out says

A look back, in some wistfulness, on Ton Steine Scherben, the radical rockers who helped stir and provided a soundtrack to Germany's political ferment of the '70s and '80s. They're described here as 'a sweeping blow against everything that is evil', but also the fruit of an innocent, idealistic, lost era. Schuch interviews musicians from contemporary groups alongside surviving Scherben members - there's sadly little of the late frontman Rio Reiser - sketching the band's history, but regularly reverting to the question of its legacy (the director came of age as Scherben were splitting). It's fairly informative, despite a confusingly careening structure, and subtitling that often goes AWOL.
