Time Out says

Hammer and Shaw Brothers combine to provide a fusion of kung-fu and vampirism in which Cushing's Van Helsen tracks Dracula to China, perceiving his hand behind the terrorising of a village by the malevolent undead. With early scenes that suggest a true marriage of forms as a Chinese pilgrim makes his way through Transylvanian forests to worship at Dracula's tomb, and later ones where the undead astonishingly hobble and dance their way across the screen, it is a shame that the film should muff some of the simplest set-ups, and rely for effect on some rather mechanically intercut vampire attacks.
