“You killed my father! Where are my elephants?” Muay Thai boxing phenomenon Tony Jaa invokes ancient warrior codes to protect his family’s herd of royal pachyderms in this completely nonsensical assemblage of nonstop Mortal Kombat melees. Gutted by 20 minutes thanks to the Weinstein Company’s overeager scissor hands, this follow-up to Prachya Pinkaew’s puckish Ong-Bak nonetheless boasts a four-minute take of a stair-climbing Jaa pummeling five stories of henchmen. Jackie Chan even passes the Asian action torch with a double-take cameo.—Stephen Garrett
