Time Out says

1 out of 5 stars
Two brothers meet for the first time in Spain en route to their dad’s funeral in a remote village on the scorched Castilian plains. Although Italian-speaking Nero (Andrea Calabrese) and Spanish Miguel (Javier Sáez) have grown up apart, their coming together enacts a cunning plan by the deceased to give each a new sibling. Such is the fairly engaging set-up for this micro-budget indie pic shot in three weeks. One can hardly fault the endeavour, but a few more drafts of the script would have been wiser. What passes for drama as this road movie unfolds is inconsequential at best and light on humour or conflict. Unfortunately, since we’re never given much reason to care for the anodyne central duo, pretty landscapes and a deft narration mean little. Frankly, a non-event.
