Time Out says

An economic slump is no reason to settle for this junked-up, unintentionally depressing Office Space bootleg about retail monkeys at a low-rent electronics chain in suburban nowheresville. Not even middle-ager-in-the-hall Dave Foley, playing an obsessive store manager, can keep the charmless comedy’s showroom pranks and after-hours romances from being cringeworthy. Somewhere on the streets of Chinatown, this is a black-market DVD optimistically renamed Klerks, though even Kevin Smith’s debut didn’t seem this amateurish.
