Time Out says

1 out of 5 stars

Fascinating science meets shoddy filmmaking in this scattershot exploration of emerging antiaging studies. Molecular biologists have discovered genes that control the results of getting older; when altered, this DNA could result in life spans of mythological duration. It’s difficult for anybody to make opining scientists seem compelling, but Robert Kane Pappas doesn’t even bother to try. To Age or Not to Age is a mess of arrhythmic editing, mopey first-person inserts and distractingly choppy narration, all making a heady topic that much more difficult to follow. To focus or not to focus should have been the first question.—Eric Hynes
