Trailer Park Boys

Canada’s favorite TV trailer-park petty criminals—Ricky (Wells), Julian (Tremblay) and Bubbles (Smith)—team up to pull off the “Big Dirty.” One of the more cretinous heists in history, this act entails the theft of large amounts of coins from a local theater—enough for the boys to leave crime forever. Admittedly, there are some funny moments (such as Ricky’s efforts to get back into jail and play in a hockey game against the guards), but reinforcing the mobile-home-as-white-trash-receptacle stereotype just seems tastelessly lazy. Oh, Canada.
