When Rusty (Skoog) convinces his friends that they should all study abroad in Romania, these brainless undergrads end up battling a fearsome vampire named Radu. That doesn’t stop Wang (Kim) and Pete (Cavanaugh) from trying to get high, of course, or Cliff (DeBello) from trying to score with Euro chicks. While it’s not an example of genre spoofing at its absolute worst (Meet the Spartans, anyone?), David and Scott Hillenbrand’s stoner horror-comedy predictably provides more groans than laughs. The filmmakers had better pray someone in the theater is holding, if you know what we mean.
