Time Out says

Unable to marry silly masturbation jokes with gangster shakedowns, this wobbly coming-of-age crime story finds American brothers James (Gallery) and Pete (Morgan) relocating to Ireland circa 1979. The resulting culture clash is initially funny, complete with eye-opening confession sessions with local priests, but then turns dark, as James’s porno-magazine sales operation threatens a local bookie and his thug (Hutton). Both Project Greenlight runners-up, directors Michael Aimette and John G. Hofmann get the teen angst and Gaelic aesthetic right; too bad their third-act thuggery isn’t just routine, but ridiculous.
