Anna Faris still hasn't found a starring vehicle truly worthy of her loopy comedic talents---though she gets a little closer with this sporadically hilarious rom-com. The Scary Movie alum plays a Boston single girl concerned that her prodigious hookup history may damn her to a life of spinsterdom; with the help of a studly playboy neighbor (Evans), she begins tracking down ex-lovers in the hope of reeling in the One Who Got Away. More of a formulaic Katherine Heigl joint than a femcentric High Fidelity, this breezy challenge to post-Cosmopolitan gender politics boasts little in the way of surprises but plenty of offbeat charm from its daffy lead.
