Time Out says

We've heard about the interrogations inside Guantnamo Bay prison; now see one for yourself. Showing declassified footage of Canadian citizen Omar Khadr being grilled about his possible terrorist ties in Afghanistan, You Don't Like the Truth mixes rough video of his four-day questioning with scenes of Khadr's lawyers, former cell mates and family members, among others, commenting on the proceedings; the result is like a waking nightmare of passive-aggressive coercion and psychological abuse. (Offering someone a fast-food meal and a soda has never seemed so loaded and ominous.) Even if the chapter breakdown ("Day 3: Blackmail") runs the risk of reducing Khadr's plight via narrative schematics, this doc raises enough questions about the ends justifying the means during an era of endless war that it earns the right to be called essential viewing.
