Congratulations, you’ve made it through an eventful first half of 2026. It’s bound to get more happening from here on out. As we wait impatiently for the monsoon to bring us respite from the painfully humid summer, there’s a couple events worth having on your calendar this month.

Big tickets events in June include an immersive F.R.I.E.N.D.S. experience that can have you in Monica’s apartment or taking pictures on the Central Perk sofa. Our favourite Art Night Thursdays are here, and as always, they’re the perfect opportunity for a gallery crawl, hop or trollop. For the Broadway theatre lovers, Andrew Lloyd’s hit musical (subject to much internet memeification) – CATS – is on at the NMACC Grand Theatre!

While Mumbai has suffered a bit of a setback as a major international stage for concerts given the slew of recent cancellations, I still firmly believe it’s a great time for live music. We may not be talking global stars, but keep your eyes (and ears) peeled and you may find genres you never stopped to consider before: classical piano, alternative Indian hip-hop, underground industrial techno.

Here’s a breakdown of everything worth checking out.

What's happening in June
