Art Mumbai 2026 is back for its fourth edition at Mahalaxmi Racecourse from November 12 to 15, bringing together 94 Indian and international exhibitors for four days of modern and contemporary art. The lineup includes 73 Indian and 21 international galleries, with six international galleries making their debut at the fair this year. Alongside gallery presentations, visitors can look forward to guided walks, live performances, speaker sessions, workshops and music.

This year's programme also takes conversations around art beyond the gallery walls, with sessions exploring the future of cultural institutions, public art, and the intersections of painting, poetry and immersive technology. Artists, poets, curators, institutional leaders and cultural practitioners from India and abroad will be part of the four-day programme.

What’s the lineup for Art Mumbai 2026?

Gallery presentations

DAG will present Visions Across Time, bringing together works by early European artists and academic artists to explore cultural exchange, identity and artistic expression. Other galleries to look out for include The Gujral Foundation, Great Banyan Art, Art Alive Gallery, LATITUDE 28, Emami Art, Anant Art and Blueprint12. Their presentations will span modern and contemporary art, architecture, antiques, sculpture, prints and emerging artistic voices.

The fair will also welcome 11 new Indian exhibitors, including Gallery Maskara, Phillips Antiques, Muziris Contemporary, Pristine Contemporary, Kumar Gallery and Gallery Veda.

Speaker series

The speaker series at Art Mumbai 2026 brings together conversations on the people, institutions and ideas shaping the art world. Scaling Up: The Future of Art Institutions in Asia and the Middle East will feature Lydia Yee, Manuel Rabaté and Minal Vazirani.

In A Poet and a Painter, poet Javed Akhtar and artist Baaraan Ijlal will come together for a conversation on painting and poetry, moderated by Ranjit Hoskote. Women to Watch will turn the spotlight on the work of multidisciplinary artist Indu Antony.

The programme also looks at how technology is changing our relationship with art. Art: How Immersive Tech Is Redrawing the Gallery Walls will explore how artificial intelligence (AI), immersive experiences and augmented reality are changing the way audiences engage with artworks. Meanwhile, Reframing the City: Public Art in India, moderated by Veeranganakumari Solanki, will examine who commissions public art, who it serves and what it takes for it to leave a lasting mark on the city.

Sculpture Park – Material and Memory

The Sculpture Park will bring together works made using stone, wood, clay, terracotta, fabric and found materials. Artists featured include Divya Mehra, Pandi Ram Mandavi, Jonathan Trayte, Madhu Das, Teja Gavankar and Sumakshi Singh, among others. Their works explore themes such as folklore, inherited traditions, consumer culture, ecology and displacement.

Guided walks, workshops and more

There's more to the fair than gallery-hopping. Visitors can sign up for guided walks through the venue, catch live performances and musical presentations, and take part in workshops. An outdoor sculpture park and interactive installations will offer more ways to engage with the artworks, while extended hours on Friday and Saturday mean there's a little more time to explore.

Whether you're an art student, a collector or simply looking for something cultural to do in Mumbai this weekend, Art Mumbai 2026 offers plenty to explore beyond the usual gallery visit.
