The 17th edition of what’s billed as South Asia’s largest LGBTQIA+ film festival is being held on the first weekend of the month. This year too, it continues its mission to spotlight films all about the community. The schedule is packed with interesting screenings to pick from… or get yourself a festival pass to catch them all!

Soho House Mumbai opens its doors for a special celebration of Pride. This exclusive House of Pride is a month-long celebration – with events open to the public as well. Expect a drag house, a voguing workshop, a film weekend, and end the month with a Pride party!

Directed by Vikram Phukan, this performance piece interrogates motherhood within queer contexts. From historical narratives to contemporary rituals, the play explores care, kinship, and the social conditions shaping queer lives in India today.

Experience the intensity of the acclaimed play COCK at antiSOCIAL Lower Parel. Directed by Manish Gadhi, it takes a playful look at one man’s sexuality and the difficulties that arise with it. When he realises he has a choice, some drama (and excitement) ensues.

Acclaimed chef and author Suvir Saran will be in conversation with Sonal Ved. The two will explore themes of identity, belonging, and the courage to embrace one’s truth. Based on Saran’s powerful memoir, Tell My Mother I Like Boys, this evening promises a raw look at food, memory, and the journey toward self-acceptance.

This is a high-energy community mixer perfect for meeting new people and celebrating together, centred on music, dance, and a bit of tipsy fun.

Faraz Arif Ansari and the Keshav Suri Foundation are bringing the fifth edition of TRANSaction. It’s a free (!) three-day acting workshop dedicated to the queer and transgender community. This programme focuses on storytelling, confidence-building, and performance arts.
