Time Out says

You must please confirm with Arts Hub or Jason L Lee that you are indeed participating by way of email, text, phone call, note on this invite, or message on Facebook. If you do not confirm, I will not put you on the list. This and every month on the 2nd Thursday in The Thornton Park District in Downtown, Orlando, FL The Thornton Park District presents the Thornton 2nd Thursday Wine and Art Walk. This is a family friendly event. This event will feature local businesses and some of the region's emerging and accomplished local artists of all mediums from the Central Florida community creating their works live with original Art for sale. Each month we will highlight one artist or group. You may contact Jason L Lee at 321-695-8266 or via email at artshuborg@gmail.com for questions about Artist participation. Cost to participate is $15 for a 10 foot wide space on the sidewalks of The Thornton Park District (Some spaces may vary in size) in front of the businesses and restaurants on Selected areas on Washington St., Summerlin Ave. and Central Ave. from Graffiti Junction to Eola Wine Company. Please be respectful and don't block the businesses doorways or windows too much. And please clean up after yourself. We would not be able to have this event without their support. If you are creative and are interested in being a part of this event, please let us know which month you want to be in and send us at least three images of your work at 300 dpi and some information on yourself (bio, resume', etc.). This is primarily a Visual Art Art Stroll, but it is open to everyone. Buy - Sell merchandise is not allowed. A picture of you and your work will probably be taken during the event by event organizers and/or event photographers to be used for nostalgia or promotion for this event. Most photos will be posted to the internet for public viewing. Please send images and info to Arts Hub Organization at artshuborg@gmail.com Things to bring to set up with: Table, Easels, Table Cloth, Walls, Your Supplies, Promotional Materials, Your Creations, Chair, Extension Cords, Power Strips, Battery Powered Lights, Plug In Lights, Duct Tape to tape down your extension cords, something to work on, tent, etc... There are spots that can fit a tent but not all of them. If it is supposed to rain, definitely bring your tent. But, people have to be able to walk through the tent because it will still be on the sidewalk and there is just enough room for the tent. The sidewalks are about 10 feet wide. If it is raining and you don't have a tent we will find an awning for you to set up under. When you are unloading to set up you can park in one of the parking spaces on the street or in a parking lot and then find permanent parking somewhere in the neighborhood. Please do not park in the street to unload. No double parking. We do try to make sure that there is power, or at least existing street lights, for the Artists to use. Please bring battery powered lights just in case. Set up starts at 5pm. When you arrive, go to the corner of Washington Ave. & Hyer, near The Falcon. If you are coming from Summerlin turn onto Washington Ave. away from lake Eola and it is the corner where the Fountain is. The event happens rain or shine. In the event of rain we will keep watch and notify you as soon as possible if the event will be canceled due to excessive rain. We will not move you or switch placements of artists unless absolutely necessary. If you are paying by check, make the check out to Jason Lee. We do encourage you to pay, and/or confirm participation early to reserve a spot. You must confirm participation and send in payments by one week before the event.
