We are so excited and honored to announce our Holistic Cooking Series featuring master cook and fermenter, Bill Hettig as the principle teacher of this particular series. We sincerely thank Sarah Robinson and the Audubon Covenant Church for allowing and supporting these classes.

We believe that in conjunction with growing food, learning how to prepare it is essential and the very definition of holistic .This cooking series focuses on our abundance, local living, and making cooking & preparing not just necessary but a human experience.

*This class is $10 total and the proceeds will go toward electricity and an item that will benefit the community as a tool-share. This will be decided on in our following meetings.*

In this class, we focus on the common ferments: kimchi, dill, sauerkraut, and fermented drinks.

Please bring a knife, cutting board, and the ingredients/supplies to ferment (if that is what you wish to do). You are encouraged to go to cookshare.net, Bill's recipe repertoire, to get ideas of what to bring. Billl will also have generic jar top kits available for sale or barter.
