Introducing a brand new weekly foray into soul shakin’ good music from the people who brought Orlando parties like Phat-N-Jazzy, 45 Fridays, and numerous tributes to legends like Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson and James Brown. Curated by resident DJ BMF, Soul Shakedown is an all-out dance party celebrating decades of uptempo funk and soul music. Whether it’s an original Motown hit or a new edit of an 80s disco boogie rarity, all of the music is meant to do one thing: get you on the dancefloor. Start practicing your Soul Train line moves now because like the Godfather says “we’re gonna have a funky good time”.
Soul Shakedown happens every Tuesday night at Will’s Pub starting March 24 at 10PM (11PM when there are early shows). The recently renovated Will’s Pub is the perfect location for a Tuesday night throw down with it’s central location and abundance of free nearby parking. It’s full liquor bar and non-smoking policy will also be attractive to the dance set. Expect some great drink specials and unique cocktails to compliment the Soul Shakedown vibe every week.
