The Ikuno area includes the largest Koreatown in Japan, but many other nationalities are also well represented in this visibly diverse part of Osaka. Ikuno’s substantial Indian and Nepali communities mean that South Asian groceries are readily available, including at this enduringly popular little shop in the shopping arcade that stretches eastward from the south side of JR Momodani Station.
Besides plentiful selections of spices and lentils, Dynamic Nepali Mart carries fresh mutton and goat’s meat, a wide variety of chutney, Bvitas juices, Haldiram sweets and snacks, and much more. The instant noodle and soup shelves are worth a browse, too.
