Banpaku Oyuba

Home to one of the biggest open-air baths in the Kansai region and noted for the skin-stimulating, highly carbonated water used in some of the tubs, Banpaku Oyuba next to Expo ’70 Commemorative Park is a veritable hot-spring theme park. Besides a myriad of mineral-rich baths, the building includes several saunas, a ganbanyoku rock bath, the Tsurukame restaurant and even its own hair salon, barber shop and massage parlour. The only drawback is that the facilities can get rather crowded, especially on the weekends – you’ll want to check the congestion monitor on their website before heading over.
