Home to Japan’s most iconic rugby stadium, this expansive park is also notable for its space-inspired playground equipment and the children’s culture and sports centre Dream 21, which besides athletic facilities includes a planetarium and various science-focussed exhibits.
The Hanazono Rugby Museum next to the stadium, open to the public on Thursdays and Saturdays, details the history of Hanazono in Japanese rugby and includes displays such as the uniforms of the teams that participated in the 2019 Rugby World Cup, during which four matches were held at Hanazono Stadium.
South of the stadium is a municipal art centre that hosts exhibitions, film screenings, various workshops and more.
