Circus company Happy Dream Circus has been performing across Japan since 2010, cultivating a loyal following with its combination of thrilling acts and family-friendly arrangements. Until June 30, they’re performing their latest show at the Panasonic Baseball Stadium in Hirakata, in the northeastern part of Osaka prefecture. Expect everything from acrobatics, trapeze artists and jugglers to daring bike and car stunt performances.
Tickets start at ¥2,500 for adults, while those of junior high school age or younger can get in for as little as ¥1,500. Tickets can be bought in advance from convenience stores until June 28 (see the event’s website on more info). Each performance runs for 90 minutes with a 15-minute intermission, and doors open 30 minutes before the start of the show.
Note that in the event of strong winds or otherwise extremely bad weather, the performance might be cancelled in the interest of safety.
