A community hub, information centre and safe space for sexual minorities, Osaka’s Pride Center is located on the second floor of an office building overlooking the Okawa river, across the bridge from Tenmabashi Station. The Center holds an extensive selection of LGBTQ+-related publications and offers free consultation services by reservation (online consultation is available too).
Japanese-speakers may want to check out the Center’s weekly podcast, ‘Eenchau Radio’, or even look into booking a spot on their annual Pride Cruise, which departs from the nearby Hachikenyahama pier and offers an opportunity for participants to make new friends during a leisurely boat trip around Nakanoshima.
