Nicholas Down: Exquisite Wilderness

Before deciding to wield a paint brush, Ugandan-born artist Nicholas Down was a physician in England for 32 years. Now retired, and based in New York, Down devotes his time to painting fluorescent abstract landscapes intended to convey timelessness and celebrate the natural world threatened by climate change.
