Doug Grigsby- If you look up Funk in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Doug Grigsby. In any case is masterful bassist, producer and artist. He will bring the thunder to Underground Arts. Doug has worked with a time of Philadelphia-based artists and has also worked with Michael Jackson and was Teena Marie's musical director…… TOM WALLING- Funk, jazz, rock, whatever…….. I met Tom on a recording session at Mike Thatcher's Sonic Recording in early '90s. We just fell into a groove, yo…. Tom plays with the Deb Callahan band, is a consummate chef, and will throw it down for us this evening for sure. Greg Moore - Greg is a Philadelphia-based guitarist. Originally from Georgia, Greg moved to the North East to attend University of the Arts. There he studied Jazz Guitar but has enveloped himself in the gospel, R&B and Hip-Hop scene in and around Philadelphia. He is also a talented writer, producer, recording engineer, music director and teacher. JAY DAVIDSON- Jay is a survivor and thriver in the entertainment industry, focusing generally on the music side of things. Multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, engineer, sound designer, session musician and actor. Jay currently plays keys and sax in the band Swift Technique. He’s also toured with Steve Winwood, The Funk Brothers, Cinderella and Whitney Houston, playing saxophone, keyboard, background vocals, flute & harmonica- An in demand session musician, Jay recently worked on rrecords by Swift Technique and brand new artists Cole Redding and Hannah Jae... Catch Jay with Swift Technique at The Ardmore Music Hall on January 17, 2015.derground Arts on 12/20 as well.... PROGRAM NOTE- The piano show starts 10 o’clock sharp.
