Fundraiser For The Interfaith Delegation To Israel/Palestine

FiveJews from Tikkun Olam Chavurah and three Christians from Germantown Mennonite Church are headed to Israel/Palestine with Christian Peacemaker Teams - Palestine in August. The delegation is--Amy Yoder McGloughlin, Duane Hershberger and Chelle Bruhn from Germantown Mennonite. And Linda Holtzman, Harvey Finkle, Matthew Feldman, Simone Zelitch, and Wilbur Bryant from Tikkun Olam. This trip is an opportunity for us to learn more about the Palestinian story, and--upon our return--share the story with you! We'll be visiting Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah and the Negev. We're fundraising $10,000 for the delegation, and we need your help and support! Join us for a falafel dinner and silent auction on March 21st. Dinner will be served from 5-7pm. Dinner will include fresh falafal, hummus, pita, tabbouleh, cabbage salad, tahini sauce, and french fries (because if you've been to Jerusalem, they serve fries on their falafel sandwiches!) Suggested minimum donation for the meal is $10/person. Our silent auction will be held from 5-8pm, and will include live music and a variety of items to bid on--everything from genuine Palestinian scarves (kuffiyehs) brought back from Hebron, to handmade items, to massages, and much more!
