The speakeasy-themed evening takes you back to a decade that brought us bootleg liquor, racecars and the booze catapult. Delve into the science and mastery behind gambling, smuggling and propaganda, and even learn the simple dance steps of the Lindy Hop and the Charleston. Other such “outlawed” topics and activities include: submarine challenges, mousetrap cars, patent medicine, cryptology, and home brewing. Science After Hours combines offbeat themes, live performances, cash bar plus access to the museum’s iconic exhibits in an adults-only after hours setting, all with a splash of science! Admission is $15; $10 for members of The Franklin Institute (age 21+)
