The Hype!'S Artist Showcase & Showdown

South by Southwest (SXSW) is the biggest music Conference and Festival in the world with over 50,000 Artists, Fans and Music Industry Professionals. Some of the worlds biggest bands will be in Austin, Texas to rock out in every venue in the city. This year the HYPE! returns to Austin with a lineup of over 30 bands on two stages and on Sunday February 15th the HYPE! Returns to The Legendary Dodbs to celebrate the artists going down and to provide an opportunity for one act to make the trip to Austin with us. On the First Floor will be an Artist Showdown. Five Artists/Bands will be vying for the final showcase slot. They'll play 30 minutes or so and the winner will receive an opportunity to perform at the HYPE!'s Showcase in Austin Travis McDaniel Wiggz The Means Emily Drinker Magda Meringue Upstairs the HYPE! will Showcase some of the artists that are already a part of the Austin Showcase including Kat Madamba Chris Gennett Amelia Scalies Ashton John Tickets will be $12 in advance and $15 at the door with all proceeds from the show will go towards transportation and promotional costs for the event.
