Time Out says

-Lust For Youth - Lust For Youth’s 'International' is unrecognizable as a Lust For Youth record on first listen. Hannes Norrvide’s previous solo albums under the Lust for Youth moniker have been described as “dark, cold, atonal, tormented, lonely, and lower than lo-fi.” The approach on International has shifted dramatically. Writing as a three-piece now, with longtime live collaborator Loke Rahbek and new band member Malthe Fischer, who produces and plays guitar, LFY have entered a completely new territory. The result is stunning. International is a buoyant synth masterpiece in the vein of early Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys and New Order. Norrvide’s work has always had pop sensibilities buried deep in the reverb, but the hooks are front and center on International, and there is nothing lo-fi about it. www.facebook.com/LustForYouth.Official http://www.sacredbonesrecords.com/products/sbr115-lust-for-youth-international -Profligate - Profligate is the current moniker for Noah Anthony's (Form a Log, Night Burger, Social Junk) solo work that focuses on heavy rhythmic electronics and tight, composed songs. Debuting in 2012 with the Videotape 12" on Not Not Fun and a full length entitled Come Follow Me from More Records, Profligate has recieved much acclaim for both recordings and visceral live performances. 2013 saw the release of two more 12"s, The Red Rope EP on DKA Records, and Can't Stop Shaking on the Dutch Enfant Terrible sub-label Gooiland Electro. Profligate was also featured on the Feral Grind Compilation released from Perc Trax sub-label Submit in late 2013 along with Prostitutes and Pete Swanson. The second full length, Finding the Floor was released December 8, 2014 on Not Not Fun. "Philly trawler Noah Anthony’s pulverized industrial designs under the black Profligate flag have grown increasingly caustic and cracked, culminating in the eight misery beat clawhammers comprising his sophomore full-length, Finding The Floor. What’s particularly impressive given Anthony’s history in form-frying outfits like Form A Log and Social Junk is how deft and purposefully these pieces are arranged – asylum weaponry fashioned from scavenged hardware. Of the record’s eight cuts, only “Can’t Stop Shaking” has seen release before (though the LP version is a fresh edit); the rest rip through variously frenzied frequencies of slaughterhouse techno, basement desperation, maniac minimal wave, heavy breathing, and shattered glass dub. Only the closer, “We Can Have It All,” hints at an escape hatch, glassy synth-pop bliss pinned against a Belgian new beat rhythm." https://profligate.bandcamp.com/ https://www.facebook.com/pages/PROFLIGATE/297349123654069 -Decade- Sex/synth-pop obsessed Philly based dance floor warriors.
