Paradigm Gallery + Studio has partnered with NewVox Gallery to bring this unique traveling exhibition to Philadelphia. Open reception Sat. March 21st. 6-10pm This exhibition will be on display at Paradigm Gallery+Studio Tuesday March, 17th, thru Saturday the 21st. 746 S. 4th St. Philadelphia 19147 Artists Andrew Lamberson Richard Boutwell Chaz Hampton Liz Wheeler Kim Christman "Objects of Our Discontent" This exhibition explores our nations relationship with firearms, as well as, the political and cultural issues surrounding this relationship. Five artists examine the symbolism, fascination, and frustration inherent in this subject matter in a whimsical, raw, and some what surreal fashion. Each artist has envisioned and created unique pieces such as white ceramic pistols, stacks of golden bullet shells made from coin rolls, raw assemblage style guns, spray painted flags, and more. NewVox Gallery is an internet based gallery which promotes emerging artists through monthly features and interviews.
