Nine Mile Run Watershed Association says
In honor of our 15th anniversary, NMRWA is hosting a community Bike Tour and a free Block Party on Saturday, June 11th.

Bike Tour:
The guided bike tour will cover 10 miles through the watershed communities of Wilkinsburg, Regent Square, Swissvale, Homewood, Edgewood, and of course, lower Frick Park. We will explore green rainwater initiatives and watershed features as we leisurely, and safely, traverse the watershed neighborhoods.

The tour will both begin and end at Biddle’s Escape coffee shop, starting at noon and finishing around 3pm. Bike Tour tickets are $25 for non-members and FREE to Nine Mile Run members. Want to become a member? Join at ninemilerun.org/become-a-member

Each ticket purchase includes*

- 10 mile guided tour of the watershed
- Refreshments & Snacks along the route
- Leona’s ice cream sandwiches at the end of the tour
- Entry to win a free tune-up from Kindred Cycles!
- Party with us at Biddle’s! (2pm to 5pm)

Block Party:
After the Bike Tour will host a free entry, family friendly Block Party on Biddle’s Escape block (S. Trenton, from Biddle Ave to Union Street). Stop by from 2pm till 5pm to enjoy live music from the Brazilian rhythms group, Timbeleza. The Block Party will also have food trucks Brassero Grill and Proper Brick Oven & Tap Room, rain barrel demos from StormWorks, and free samples from Green Flash Brewing Co. and Wigle Whiskey! What a great way to explore and celebrate your community on a summer Saturday.

Registration (Bike Tour ONLY):
The Block Party is free to all and does not require registration. Register at ninemilerun.org/bikeparty.

Residential street parking is available in the neighborhood surrounding Biddle’s Cafe.

* Ticket purchases are non-refundable in the event of inclement weather.
