Bunker Projects is excited to announce the third annual Performance Art Festival! Presented as part of the Three Rivers Arts Festival, this year’s PAF16 will take place at Space gallery in downtown’s Cultural District June 10-11. The festival is FREE & open to the public.

PAF16 features 20+ performances by a range of avant-garde performances artists from 9 US cities and 7 countries. Festival curator, Abagail Beddal brings works based on body transformation, public interventions, site-specific and durational pieces, artists express the different sociopolitical and philosophical topics that connect communities across the globe.

○ WHEN: Friday June 10 and Saturday June 11, 4-10 p.m.

○ FREE & open to the public

About Bunker Projects:

Bunker Projects is a non-profit artist residency and experimental gallery located at 5106 Penn Ave in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Founded in 2013, founders Jessie Rommelt, Cecilia Ebitz and Abagail Beddall embarked on a year long restoration process on a formerly burnt out second and third floor apartment. Bunker Projects has since hosted 22 residencies and 35 exhibitions over the last 3 ½ years. Artists of all mediums and discourse are hosted for 3-4 month residencies alongside other art and cultural event series like Performance Art Festival and Talking with Your Mouth Full (a brunch-time speaker series with guest writers, journalists and storytellers). Bunker Projects is volunteer- and artist-run with an active working board of directors and is a 501c3 registered non-profit.
