Oregon PSR (Physicians for Social Responsibility) says
Oregon PSR and partner organizations are planning a memorial event to mark the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The event, 70 Years After Hiroshima and Nagasaki: The Ever-Present Nuclear Threat, will feature speakers and performers, including Portland Taiko, and will provide opportunities for attendees to get involved in efforts to abolish nuclear weapons.

Thursday, August 6th, 2015 beginning at 6:00 PM

Japanese American Historical Plaza (Waterfront Park at NW Naito Parkway and Couch Street in Portland)

This event is free and open to the public, and we encourage you to invite your friends, family and colleagues to join us in remembering Hiroshima and Nagasaki and working for a nuclear-free future.
