Shell's icebreaker ship is not in Portland... yet!

We need volunteers to do outreach at the Big Float event hosted by the Human Access Project on Sunday. You're invited to join a flotilla of floaters carrying sHELL NO banners down the river the day after the ship is scheduled to arrive.

The Big Float is a family friendly event.

Floaters may register online before the event for $8, or register at check-in on Sunday for $10. To register online, visit:
Please consider the entrance money a donation if you are able, and if you are unable to pay the fee we will provide funds for you.

**We are collecting donations of life jackets and inner tubes/inflatable rafts/air mattresses to provide to people who don't have their own. If you have any extra resources to donate, please let us know!**

PLEASE NOTE: mandatory life jackets can be rented at check-in for $8 (or bring your own!), but inner tubes are not available.

If you want to volunteer but don't want to float, come hang out on the beach with a team of petitioners! Look for the 350PDX table in the Tom McCall Bowl when you arrive. There will be a short training session for new volunteers at the start of each shift, then you'll have a few hours to talk to people about our sHELL NO petition and watch the floaters come in. There is no registration necessary for people staying dry on land.

Whether you're volunteering or floating, please let us know you're coming with our volunteer form so we can arrange any additional equipment or funds you might need:
