But I'm A Cheerleader (Pow Fest Monthly Screenings At 7pm And 9pm) says
In celebration of PRIDE Month, POWFest presents two special screenings of BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER (1999), directed by Jamie Babbit. This cult classic is a queer coming of age tale centered around the story of a naive teenager sent to rehab camp when her straitlaced parents and friends suspect her of being a lesbian.

Bring your friends & celebrate Pride with POWFest and the Clinton Street Theater. Shows start at 7pm and 9pm.

Tickets available at the door for a sliding scale of $5-$10 at the door or online in advance for $8 using the link above. Proceeds go to support POWFest's work supporting women filmmakers of all ages. For more details about POWFest please visit www.powfest.com.

Doors open at 6:30pm for the first show and 8:45pm for the second. No one turned away due to lack of funds.

All paying attendees will be entered into a drawing for fun prize packs courtesy of our sponsor New Belgium Brewing!

POWFest Monthly is an extended festival dedicated to showcasing films directed by women. It provides year-round visibility to the wide range of high quality, thought-provoking films women create, and gives audiences an opportunity interact with the filmmakers whenever possible. By doing so, POWFest Monthly supports the careers and leadership of women in film.

Screenings take place on the fourth Monday of every month at Clinton Street Theater and proceeds fund POWFest’s efforts to increase the number of women in leadership roles in media by providing resources, education and visibility.
