This class is designed to strengthen and tonify the deep muscle groups that support your joints and spine and
will offer tools to develop easeful stability and strength. Each class will systematically address healthy
mobilization and strengthening of specific regions of the body as well as whole-body integration.
Developing core strength is often pursued as an acute and focused hardening or “corseting” around the
abdominal wall. While this muscular development can create a certain amount of stability, it can also lead to
structural, organ and chemical imbalances in the body. In this class our primary concern is cultivating a balance
of dynamic strength and easeful enjoyment. Though we may ask you to do some abdominal exercises, you will
also be guided to find deeper systems of support, counter poses, and learn to integrate strength through your
