Drop, Drop, Slow Tears: Lenten Concert

On Sunday, March 8th at 7:00pm, the St. James Collegium Musicum will present a concert of sacred music for the season of Lent and Holy Week at The Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater. Director Scott Powell will lead the ensemble in some of the most famous and moving pieces composed for this liturgical season. The concert will include works by Bruckner, Gibbons, Macmillan, Purcell, and Victoria, as well as Allegri's 'Miserere mei Deus', Byrd's 'Ne Irascaris' and Lotti's 'Crucifixus'. Suggested donations for admission are $10 for Individuals and $35 for families of 4 or more. For tickets and more information contact the Proto-Cathedral office at 360-693-3052.
