[EDIT--DEC 27--This workshop no longer requires registration.]

NO. It's an important and loaded word. I am personally working to unlock its potential in my life, my work, and my art. Come and hear a brief talk about my personal experiences with No. Then take part in a simple and supportive experiment in group NOing.

We will very simply experiment with saying no within our own bodies, then to each other, and then collectively. After each experiment, we will break to discuss in small groups and with the larger group about our positive, negative, and neutral experiences.

This workshop is facilitated by Jonathan Lee, also known as Yes Please Paradox. Jonathan has over 20 years of experience using theater, movement, creativity, and mindfulness to create change for people, audiences, and organizations. He is a Performance Artist, Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, and Freelance Creative Director/Copywriter.

We're asking for a donation of $5 on the day of the workshop to cover rental expenses. Additional funds, if any, will be used for future workshop rentals. No One Turned Away For Lack of Funds.

ACCESS NOTE: The workshop is being offered on the second floor of People's Coops community room on the second floor. This space has a dedicated lift that requires a key. Please let us know if you need to use it and we'll make sure it's ready to go.

Also, please do not wear scents nor use scented detergents if possible out of consideration for people with chemical and scent allergies.
