Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) says
Recent scientific “discoveries” have uncovered a revolutionary new building material that could change how we prepare for earthquakes – gingerbread! Come to OMSI and learn how buildings are designed to withstand quakes. Design, build and test your own quake proof gingerbread house. Put your tower on OMSI's shake table to see if it will survive “the Big One”?!

This workshop is suggested for ages 18+. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Foodstuffs in this lab will include common allergens such as wheat, soy, and eggs.

Tickets are $25 per house; up to two people can work on each house.
