Oregon College of Art and Craft (OCAC) is pleased to present Herb Tam, Curator and Director of Exhibitions at the Museum of Chinese in America in New York City, as the spring speaker in the 2016 Curator and Critic Tours and Lectures series, a Connective Conversations | Inside Oregon Art program.

During this free presentation, Tam will describe the challenges and rewards of curating from a unique cultural and historical point of view. Attendees will hear about how Tam’s rigorous analysis and investigation can serve the curatorial process.

Students, faculty, art professionals, and members of the public are invited to attend. Come to the Vollum Drawing, Painting and Photography Building.

Connective Conversations | Inside Oregon Art is a partnership between The Ford Family Foundation, University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts, Reed College’s Douglas F. Cooley Memorial Art Gallery, and OCAC. Founded by The Ford Family Foundation, the multiyear program brings prominent curators and critics to Oregon to engage with visual artists statewide.
