Foundations of Movement: Yoga and Dance with Renee Sills

As humans, we start learning to move in our earliest days of development. Explore OMSI’s human development exhibit and learn how your body formed from the beginning to create the foundations for your adult movement patterns. Re-learning basic developmental patterns through movement is not only fun, it also integrates and strengthens your deep core stability and reflexes.

Tickets: $10/class (OMSI members & students receive 15% off). The student discount is available at the door only.

Please bring your own yoga mat and bottled water.

Movement in the Museum is a new class series that explores principles of science in the actions and sensations of our moving bodies. Each class kicks off with a hands-on science activity or demonstration to explore the evening’s topic, a 1-hour dance or yoga class, and a 15-minute discussion. No previous dance or yoga experience is required. Open to ages 12 and over.
