It’s going to be a great night at the LaurelThirst! Folk/alt-country/rock group Mts. & Tunnels on tour from Seattle headline an evening of late summer live music at its finest, at the most laid-back and fun music venue in town, the LaurelThirst. Plus Malachi Graham & the All Hallows will be bringing the three-part harmonies & moody country noir, and Will St. John (of King Columbia) will bring his slide guitar and howlin’ primitive folk & blues tunes. You won’t want to miss it!

Mts. & Tunnels
“An energetic jamboree of instrumentation and talent” -N.W. Music Scene Blog
Mts. & Tunnels is the band you already know but have never heard. With roots in american songwriting, alt. country and folk music, their second album For a Day Or A Lifetime was released April 18th 2015 at the Fremont Abbey in Seattle. They’ve worked with Northwest folk/rock legends Jason Webley & Mike Coykendall, and they bring strong musicianship and a dynamic and expressive energy all their own. Let’s welcome them to Portland!

Malachi Graham & the All Hallows:
Portland-based songwriter Malachi Graham writes lush, intimate noir Americana inspired by complicated heroines, with forceful, nuanced electric guitar and vocals. Her band The All Hallows brings her character-driven songs to life with upright bass, drums, and three-part harmonies.
“Malachi Graham’s roots in Oregon go all the way back to the folks who traveled the Oregon Trail, and her young, but wise voice sounds like it, steeped in the individualism that won the West but that also could make it, at times, a lonely place.” — Portland Tribune
