WHY THIS DAY?
This has been declared an all native nations and allies day of solidarity nationwide.

WHO IS INVITED?
All Native American people and non-native allies from all communities and tribes. All children and youth are encouraged to come so we can celebrate them - this is family friendly.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?
We will be gathering to foster positive community connections so we can foster more positive and supportive relationships. There will be an opportunity to hear important speakers of the native community. There will also be musicians, dancers and singers to perform in honor of tradition. This will be followed by an optional walk of solidarity to the waterfront that will end in ceremonious thanks and a Native prayer.

WHY IS THIS SIGNIFICANT?
The Native community faces oppression via means of silencing and isolation. By coming together as a community and fostering positive relationships we provide a special kind of support.

AFTER!!!!
This gathering will be followed by NXT LVL 2.0 - Native Nations March - Official After Party by NXT LVL PDX at JADE CLUB starting at 9pm for 21+!!! Featuring native dj's and performers!!! Donations and proceeds go to Water Protector Legal Collective, Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women, Portland Menstrual Society for PSU Native American Student Community Center.
