Tomorrow @ 2pm Psycho/Psycho Double Feature says
Time, A Fair Hustler (based on characters in MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO) premieres at Artists Repertory Theatre, July 31 with Hand2Mouth Theater Company.

Seems like a good time to celebrate director Gus Van Sant, one of Portland's own, with a retrospective of his work, so a month long summer festival, "Gus Van Sant: 30 Years", celebrates the career of this local hero, and one of America's most adventurous film makers. This is a chance for fans to go even deeper into Van Sant's career after Northwest Film Center's Essential Van Sant spring series.

And now from PSYCHO...

It is sad when a mother has to speak the words that condemn her own son. I can't allow them to think I would commit murder. They'll put him away now as I should have years ago. He was always bad and in the end he intended to tell them I killed those girls and that man, as if I could do anything but just sit and stare like one of his stuffed birds. They know I can't move a finger and I want to just sit here and be quiet just in case they suspect me. They're probably watching me. Well, let them. Let them see what kind of a person I am. I'm not even going to swat that fly. I hope they are watching... they'll see. They'll see and they'll know, and they'll say, "Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly..."
